We conserve Mount Nittany as a natural treasure for all generations.
We conserve Mount Nittany in its natural state as a symbol of Penn State and the Nittany Valley, and for the benefit of the public, through conservation activities and the promotion of cultural experiences, folklore, and traditions which inspire a common love for the Mountain as an environmental, scenic, and recreational heritage.
We believe that conserving Mount Nittany and inspiriting the cultural and natural landscapes through experience, friendship, and knowledge is essential for the thriving of Central Pennsylvanians, Penn Staters, and others who may dwell near the gentle shadow of the Mountain.
